The Deerfield Ranch Winery Chef will prepare a fresh, seasonally inspired meal perfectly paired with Deerfield Ranch wines. Stunning scenery is also on the menu, and you'll feast your eyes on the Kenwood Marsh – one of only two places on earth where the endangered Kenwood Marsh Checkerbloom plant exists – as well as the gorgeous architecture of Deerfield Ranch's 23,000 square foot cave. Deerfield Ranch, with stunning views of Sonoma Mountain, boasts some of the most charming accommodations that Sonoma has to offer.  Robert and PJ Rex began Deerfield Ranch as a bed and breakfast in the 1970s, sharing their wines with visitors around the table. Since then, the winery has moved from the tiny horse barn they converted to the 23,000 square foot cave they built and alot has changed, except for their legendary hospitality. During your two-night stay, taste wines under their majestic old oak tree, enjoy a tour of property, and Winemaker, Robert Rex will cook you breakfast.  You might even get lucky enough to enjoy the souflee he's fond of "whipping up" with a cup of espresso made from his own blend of coffee beans.

Deerfield Ranch Winery's first sparkling wine has been in the making for over a decade. As with the best French sparkling wines, this blanc de blanc was structiured to age beautifully and was 12 years En Tirage. It reveals flavors of apple tart, a fresh burst of pear and flavor nuances that exist nowhere else in nature.

These flagship wines are perhaps the most sophisticated that Deerfield has to offer.  All the wines in this rare vertical are Bordeaux blends.  The DRX wines are "Barrel Blends," created by selecting the very best barrels in the cave to blend together.
